Sweeps and blocks aren't how retail trades. My read on who is in Alpha Modus Holdings, Inc. Class A Common Stock and how big they are.

Who Is Buying $AMOD? Sweeps, Blocks and the Path to $1.57

Listen: hear this article read aloud (about 2 min).

Someone is working Alpha Modus Holdings, Inc. Class A Common Stock in size, and the tape is the only place it shows.

$AMOD sits at $1.71, $3.51 below its 20-day high of $5.22 and $0.58 above its 20-day low of $1.12.

My read: binary, event-driven. This one belongs to the calendar more than the chart.

Who is working this stock

Against its own 60-session range, $AMOD is 67.3% below the high of $5.22 (Oct 5) and 52.2% above the low of $1.12 (Oct 1). $AMOD closed higher in 3 of its last 9 sessions.

Volume over the last five sessions was in line with the twenty sessions before them (1.0x).

The largest one-day move in the past twenty sessions was +198.3% on Oct 2. 845279.5091 intermarket sweeps today, 567326.5091 on the sell side: orders that hit several exchanges at once, the signature of someone who wants size now. 66% of the volume printed off-exchange against a typical 40%: dark pools are busier than the lit book.

What I make of it: large orders are slow to hide, and a buyer working size leaves a trail in the prints before it shows up on the chart.

Who is positioned for what

Order-flow analysis classifies the activity as trap, strength 46 of 100. Trap: price is moving one way while the real money positions the other way. The move is being sold (or bought) into. Fade it at the map levels.

Off-exchange trading: HEAVY: $67K block at $1.67, 3x yesterday's biggest, high off-exchange share. Biggest single off-exchange print: 39,899 shares at $1.67, about $67K, on a downtick (seller hit). A print that size is one order being crossed away from the public book, not a crowd of small trades. Days to cover 1.0, 39K shares short, short interest -16.8% since the last report. Squeeze risk 9 of 100; shorts pressing 81 of 100.

Earnings today (2026-10-21).

Sentiment readings show bullish (36 of 100).

What I make of it: the data agrees with itself more than it argues, and that counts for something. It still falls short of proof.

The bull case

  • Prints do not carry intent

The bear case

  • Tape setup with a measured path to $1.57
  • Order-flow read: trap, strength 46 of 100
  • A binary earnings event inside the window

What I think traders are overlooking

What I think traders are overlooking is the volume. Price can drift to a level on almost nothing, and what it does there needs real participation. Without it, a break is easy to fade.

None of that is visible in the candles.

What happens next, and when I'm out

If $AMOD prints the tape staying one-sided for another session (sell sweeps and blocks) and volume expands, I think $1.57 becomes the next serious test. Above $1.81, I'm wrong.

The honest objection is that prints don't carry intent. Large trades can be hedges or rebalances, and the tick rule misreads direction often enough to matter.

Clear the level on volume and I'm interested. Fail below the line and I'm out of the idea.

Kill switch

Any one of these and the thesis is over, no averaging down, no renaming it.

  • A close through $1.81.
  • Buying absorbs the selling at a key level and price reclaims it on volume.
  • Order flow reverses: the sweeps and blocks turn to the other side.
  • A scheduled event changes the picture before the trigger is reached.

My read

This one belongs to the calendar, not the chart. Whatever I think of the setup, the report gets a vote, and I'd size accordingly.

Desk record. 4 of 11 scenario targets traded before their invalidation (36%), 7 stopped out, 0 ran out of time, average outcome +10.89% per piece. Past pieces say nothing about this one.

The desk's scenario leans bearish. Bull or bear, the kill switch above is what keeps either view honest.
